Rehabilitation is an addiction treatment process that should be customized
to each individual to establish long-term success in sober living. Retreat
at Lancaster County has designed a wide range of programs to offer the
custom approach necessary for healing with an emphasis on holistic treatments
for more comprehensive care. Our experienced staff includes a primary
therapist, team therapist, outreach specialist, and team nurse to provide
the best possible care for every case. We accept patients from around
the country with programs for men and women over the age of 18.
Driving to Our Center
From Harrisburg, take I-83 N to exit 46A to merge onto I-76. Take exit
1A to merge onto PA-283 E toward Lancaster. Merge onto U.S. 30 E, and
keep right at the fork to continue onto US-222 N. Take the Pennsylvania
County 772 exit toward Brownstown, and then turn right onto PA-772 W.
Turn right onto PA-272 N, and then turn right onto Steinmetz Rd. Make
a slight right, and you’ll see us on the left.
From Reading, merge onto US-422, and take the exit onto US-222 S. Take
the US-322 exit toward Ephrata, and turn right onto US-322/Main St. Turn
left onto Bethany Rd, and then make a right onto Parkview Heights Rd.
Make a slight left onto Steinmetz Rd, and then turn left. You will see
our center on the left.

Lancaster County is a primarily rural county in south central Pennsylvania,
best known for its prominent Amish community known as the Pennsylvania
Dutch. This community comprises of the descendants of German immigrants,
who arrived in the region in the 18
th and 19
th centuries seeking religious freedom. The rich soil and mild climate of
the area made it a welcoming farming community, which it remains today.
There are several boroughs and townships in Lancaster County with only
one major city, Lancaster, which serves as the county seat. The Lancaster
metropolitan area has a population of about 507.766, and the city is one
of the oldest inland towns in the United States along with Springfield,
MA and Petersburg, VA.
