The young man, aged 19, died in a hospital recently from blunt force trauma head injuries. His injuries were apparently sustained through a hazing ritual as part of the initiation into the Baruch College chapter of Pi Delta Psi. The fraternity had been renting a cabin in the Poconos, where a police search uncovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as mushrooms that are suspected to be hallucinogenic.
