relapse prevention, 12-step), Retreat’s services include treatment
for co-occurring disorders, pain management, grief & loss and trauma.
Retreat also offers specific programs for first responders, medical professionals
and impaired professionals.
What is a typical day at Retreat?
Patients begin their day with a hearty breakfast and our Community Meeting,
setting a positive tone for the day and addressing any concerns patients
may have. Following that is small group therapy session with the patient’s
Primary Therapist. Our culinary team creates a delicious & nutritious
lunch and then patients attend a second process group that is both therapeutic
and educational in nature. We offer holistic electives that include art,
music and recreation among others. After enjoying dinner, patients attend
a psychoeducational group facilitated by a clinical staff member. We offer
a 12-Step meeting every evening. We close the day with a celebration of
those that have completed treatment and snack time. Our days also allow
time for personal reflection, recreation & socialization.
